The Stage as a Multidisciplinary Laboratory: Learning From the VISCERA

How can we express our thoughts and feelings about difficult subjects in ways that allow us to learn from each other?  An experimental collaboration launched by the Hopkins Center and the Theater Department brought together 57 students and 4 faculty in the multidisciplinary development of a production exploring war.  The resulting exchange of skills and knowledge about dance, music, digital imagery, video production, teaching and training was a source of inspiration and growth for every participant. The outcome is a production which provokes powerful emotions, and thoughtful discussion.
