Workforce of the Future Engages 1100 through Staff Forum and Workforce Questionnaire

On Thursday, April 5, 2012, Dartmouth hosted a Staff Forum that was partially dedicated to Strategic Planning and the questions being explored by the Workforce of the Future group. Over 150 people attended.  Speaking at the event were Carol Folt, who is leading strategic planning, as well as the chairs of the Workforce of the Future strategic planning working group.

All staff were invited to attend and share ideas, focused on these topics:

- The leading innovations recommended for Dartmouth's workforce to be on the cutting edge of higher education
- Essential tools, practices, and technologies that should be in place for Dartmouth's workforce of the future
- What Dartmouth can do to support the workforce of the future

In conjunction with the Staff Forum, the Workforce of the Future Working Group invited all staff and faculty at Dartmouth to fill out a questionnaire focused on these questions.  Over 1100 people participated in the questionnaire, offering suggestions and ideas that helped to inform the Workforce of the Future recommendations for the strategic plan.
